Wildflowers prefer poor soils so avoid using fertilisers.

Keep them well watered initially and remove any weeds if they appear. Do not cut back the old plants until they have scattered their seed. Then in the following spring re-cultivate the soil for another crop Sow March-May or September-October Flowering August-September or May-July.
