Ideal for salads or cooking, it can be harvested all summer. Sowing Information Sow thinly direct into finely raked, warm, moist, weed-free soil at a depth of 6-13mm (1/4- 1? 2") covering the seed lightly. Thin resulting seedlings to 20cm (8") between plants.

Use the thinning in the salad bowl. Water well during spells of dry weather to prevent plants running to seed (bolting). Grows best in well cultivated soil in a sunny position.

Sowing to Cropping: 4-6 weeks.
