These special pegs are made from a unique plastic that remains flexible even at temperatures as low as minus 50 degrees and offers excellent holding power, especially in snow but also in sand. Additionally, the material is half the weight of comparable metal pegs.

Even when the warm sun hits these plastic pegs, they still hold firmly in the snow. The reason for this is that the sun cannot warm the plastic. Therefore, the snow around the plastic peg cannot melt around it, as it can with warming metal pegs.

This means the peg cannot loosen. You receive these cool pegs in a pack of six. No doubt about it: the name is indeed a promise, as these pegs hold securely in snow and sand just like a piranha's teeth in its prey.
