A 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Expansion Port allows for the connection of additional SAS drives that are bridged to Thunderbolt by the SymplyPRO. LTO-8 boasts a native capacity of 12TB (30TB compressed) and native performance of 300MB/Sec (750MB/Sec compressed), supports 256-bit encryption along with WORM media. Compatible with LTFS (Linear Tape File System) making backup and archive operations easier to an open source and interchangeable tape format.

Symply tape products feature massive interoperability and are compatible with industry leading software providers. Premium cooling fans and power supply (Internal Auto-Switching Power Supply, 110-240v). Kit includes 1 x data cartridge, 1 x cleaning cartridge, 1 x 2m Active Thunderbolt 4 cable 1 x SymplyLOCK, 1 x Local Power Cable and SymplyATOM macOS software.
