Constructed of 400 Denier polyester, these pants were constructed with protection and durability in mind. Additionally, the Force 851 Hockey Pants feature a full protective belt cover keeping players protected around the waist against impact like sticks or blocked shots. Going hand in hand with the belt cover is the flex high back design.

This padding on the back of the pads further extends up the back, protecting the sensitive spine and lower back areas. The belt cover, back padding, as well as the thigh areas feature Tackla’s thermofoam plastic protectors. This highly protective material disperses the force of direct impacts in these sensitive areas, while remaining highly lightweight and durable.

For comfort, the Force 851 Hockey Pants feature Tackla’s Airpressure management system. This technology is located within the interior of the pants and provides players with a comfortable and pillow-like feel on the backside, around the hips, and the sides of the thighs. This technology protects against a multitude of things such as blocked shots, stick checks, and falls on the ice.
