Terracolor Brush-on Decorating Slip

Terracolor rich coloured red Engobe is a smooth decorating slip in prepared liquid form, that you can use straight from the jar. Usually best used on leather hard clay, but also work well when applied to bisque. Firing range 1020°C -1200°C.

Good to know: Apply a clear transparent glaze for full colour development or leave un-glazed for a more subtle velvety texture. Photo shows the outer circle glazed and the inner circle unglazed. Non-toxic (lead-free) Please follow manufacturer instructions.

Please note: the label on the container refers to "Brush-on Glaze" and recommends " Use a soft brush to apply an even coat of glaze over fired ware". The word "glaze" has been translated from German and should correctly be "engobe.”
