It produces soft, fragrant colours in a range of shades including lemon, cream, gold, apricot, purple, pink, salmon, rose and mahogany. It's a versatile and undemanding short lived perennial that tends to be grown as a biennial, and is tough enough to cope in even the poorest of soils. It's suitable for patio, cottage gardens, scented gardens, wildlife gardens and cut flower gardens.

It prefers full sun or semi-shade and can grow to a height of 37-45cm (15-18in).
