Dye inks are well known as transparent, water-based inks. But Distress also reacts with water. Once you add water the ink continues to react, for hours or even days.

Spray on water to create stunning watercolour effects, or use a blending tool to allow the different Distress Ink colours to flow into each other. The intense colour is retained even after coming into contact with heat or water. This makes the stamping ink well suited for a variety of applications such as watercolours and embossing.

Distress is ideal for mixed media projects where several types of materials and techniques are combined. For instance, Distress Oxide, paints and stains have all been developed using the same colours, making them easy for you to combine. They are ideal for a wide range of craft projects such as card making and scrapbooking.

The felt stamp pad can easily be filled with the matching re-inker. These are available separately and come in all Distress colours.
