This self-retracting 8m metal tape measure has Class II accuracy, and a shock-absorbent ABS thermoplastic case with a soft-touch rubber outer. The steel blade has both metric and imperial markings; the blade's matte finish reduces glare for easier viewing, prevents rust and protects the markings against rubbing off. The soft-close blade-return bumper helps to prevent injury when you retract the tape measure.

Because the rust-proof steel hook is magnetised, you can connect it to the surface that you are trying to measure from. With its handy wrist strap and belt clip, your tape measure will never be far out of reach. The sliding one-touch blade-lock button lets you fix the length of the blade anywhere along its length.

When it comes to bend resistance, the blade can be extended 2.4 meters in a horizontal plane before bending.
