The dirt strainer is also made of rust-proof stainless steel. It prevents the ingress of particles larger than 2.3 mm (starting from a solids content of 0.25% in a ton of water) and protects the pump from damage caused by sand and dust. The pump is operated safely and conveniently via the external splash-proof control box.

The integrated overload switch protects the device from surge damage.
