Follow the below instructions for adjustments: To Raise: Simply lift the section to the desired angle, the gas strut will lock in position when you let go. To Lower: Support the head section with one hand, and squeeze the lever to release the gas strut allowing the backrest to be repositioned.

To Secure: To lock the backrest at the angle required, release the lever.
