Kuru Toga pencils are self-advancing, too, so you don't need to click the button as you write. Each time you lift the pencil from the paper, the complex Kuru Toga mechanism silently kicks into action, rotating the lead and advancing it a tiny bit. With Kuru Toga Advance, the lead rotates further each time, so even when you're writing lots of longer strokes, the lines stay consistent.

It's made with more metal parts than the standard Kuru Toga, making the mechanism more stable and allowing for a much more consistent auto-sharpening experience. This is a perfect pencil to use with softer leads, which can be hard to use neatly in other mechanical pencils. Available in four colors, all in 0.5 mm width.
