Since the PRO-248 utilizes the 48V phantom power from the microphone preamp, no batteries or other power supplies are required.

The selected induction transformer from UNiKA PRO, the separate isolation transformer specifically designed for audio applications, and the high (260 kOhm) input impedance provide a bright, open, and very musical sound rich in harmonics. The UNiKA PRO-248 is equally at home on stage and in the studio, thanks to its robust steel housing, full-area anti-slip mat, and recessed connectors.
