There is a bean bin and powder bin which catches all the small debris and it can be washed in the dishwasher. The blue light means the grinder is ready to use and the red light flashes is to remind you to charge the device. It automatically stops when the bean has finished grinding.

The grinder needs to be charged for 3 hours for it to work for one week if you grind three times a day, and use approx 25G coffee beans. It works via USB TYPE C wire charging, cable included. The grinder is transparent, so you can see the beans grinding
