Patented in 1987, the system was even featured on a postage stamp in a series commemorating interesting inventions from the country of windmills and tulips. The presented set includes a vacuum pump and two stoppers. Thanks to them, preserving the aroma of unopened wine is exceptionally easy - simply use the system and place the bottle in the fridge, so that the beverage retains its properties even for several days.

The Wine Saver system is equipped with useful enhancements that make it easier to use the stoppers and pump. At the top of the rubber stoppers is a tab that facilitates opening by equalising the pressure. In addition, when the correct level of vacuum is reached during pumping, the system will emit a characteristic 'click'.
