Please consult with your veterinary professional for your complete advice about this medication. Uses Vetmedin Chew Tablets contains pimobendan as the active ingredient. This medication is used to manage mild, moderate, or severe congestive heart failure in dogs caused by atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).

Cautions Vetmedin is for use in dogs with clinical evidence of heart failure only. This medication should be administered to dogs only of 6 months of age and above. Keep out of reach of children.

How to use For oral use in dogs only. Aminister this medication to your pet as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer's packaging. Possible side effects Diarrhea, vomiting, drowsiness, scratching are some of the possible side effects.

If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose.

Do not double the dose.
