Visual, audible and vibration alerts warn of shallow lines, overload or excessive swinging, reducing the risk of strikes. Housed in tough ABS with rubber bumpers and rated to IP54, the locator stands up to rain, dust and rough handling. Six AA batteries give roughly 12 hours’ use, or upgrade to the lithium-ion pack for up to 50 hours between charges.

Integrated 4 GB data-logging stores every locate, and selected models add Bluetooth and GPS for effortless mapping and proof-of-work reporting. The optional Metal mode (vScan M) pin-points lost covers and valve boxes, while the 1 W transmitter delivers strong active signals for confident tracing up to 7 m deep.
