Cleaning any excess rosin off of your instrument is very important. Rosin dust can damage the finish of the body of your violin, cause inconsistencies in your bow hair's grip and damage the ebony on your fingerboard. Often you cooccasionallyally clean some of this rosin off the fingerboard and bow hair with a little bit of alcohol.

But this can damage the varnish of your instrument's body and the bow stick. That's where Hill's Conservation Wax comes in. This is specifically designed for stringed instruments and is formulated to be kind to your instrument.

The unique blend of microcrystalline waxes and citrus oils is effective in removing rosin buildup and as a gentle polishing agent. There are no petrochemical solvents which could damage the paint or varnish of your instrument. The wax is non-abrasive and is transparent when applied.

Your wax is supplied in a resealable aluminium tin and premium display box.
