Presented in a beautiful Christmas themed gift box, it makes the perfect gift for the festive season. This gift set contains 12 different tree decorations, each one a small ceramic circle representing one of the days. Each well-finished ceramic circle, which measures 7cm in diameter, contains a graphic of an animal and a small passage from the famous song, showing the day of Christmas that the animal represents.

For example, Twelve Drummers Drumming displays a cute little hare, known for the way they drum their feet, five golden rings is displayed by a highland cow with five rings hanging of its horn, and ten lords a leaping is represented by a leaping stag, a lord amongst animals. The box itself is lined with red and has a white exterior which is decorated with the same Wrendale animals that you find on the ceramic decorations. Wrendale Designs The wonderful Wrendale Designs collection is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures.

Featuring original artwork produced by much-loved Lincolnshire artist Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and her signature speckles of black paint. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life in the English countryside, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business and the collection has grown over the years, ranging from stationery to homeware, accessories to storage tins, clothing to ceramicware from British brand Portmeirion, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
