The ColorChecker consists of 24 scientific color compartments, which reflect the light in the same way in all parts of the visual spectrum. By the ColorChecker card, with known color values to photograph, you have, as it were, a precise and absolute reference at your disposal.

This gives an established bond between your images and the way the images are being processed with your camera when it comes to color.
