Use regularly on problem pads in order to prevent stickiness and improve key response. How to use Take one of the powder papers and place it with the powder-covered side facing the tone hole. If you are having trouble reaching a particular tone hole, you may need to use scissors to cut the paper down to a smaller size.

Once the paper is in position over the tone hole, shut the key a few times to deposit a small amount of powder onto the tone hole rim. This will help dry up any sticky residue that has built up and stop the pad from sticking.
