It is equipped with the Soft-closeTM cylinder retarder system: A damper mechanism prevents the keyboard cylinder from falling suddenly and therefore eliminates any risk of injury or material damage. It also has a built-in lock below the keypad, which allows access to be locked when the cover is closed. Equipped with the tonal / sostenuto pedal, this basically allows you to sustain some selected notes and not others.
