Each plant will naturally die back in autumn, returning bigger and better the following spring. The collection typically includes (but is not limited to): Achillea 'Summer Berries', Delphinium 'Fountain Mix', Digitalis (Foxglove) 'Dalmation Mixed', Hollyhocks 'Chaters Double Mixed', Coreopsis 'Early Sunrise', Gaillardia 'Mesa Mix', Geum 'Lady Stratheden', Aquilegia 'Mrs Scott Elliot', Alchemilla mollis, Campanula 'Blue Bells', Verbena bonariensis, and Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm'. Upon arrival, gently mist or soak the plugs for an hour to rehydrate; they may appear slightly dry or yellow after transit.

Pot them using a quality multi-purpose compost and 7-9cm pots. Water thoroughly initially, then only when the top compost dries. Grow on a bright windowsill or greenhouse for three to four weeks before transplanting into containers or flowerbeds.

For direct planting, prepare the soil well once frost risk has passed, removing weeds and enriching the soil with compost or well-rotted manure.
