Zoo Med’s Can O’ Worms in medium size are farm-raised and are ideal for most lizards, turtles, fish, birds and other small animals.Zoo Med Can O' Worms are made using an innovative cooking process called retorting. Mealworms are canned live and are cooked in the can to lock in flavor, maintain freshness and preserve nutritional value.

The cooking process also softens the exoskeleton by breaking down collagen proteins for easier digestion for your pet. The mealworms are packaged in their own natural juices and contain no artificial flavors or colors. Each 1.2 ounce (3.5 grams) can contains approximately 300 delicious worms.
